After fourteen years of establishing itself as a destination for culinary indulgence in the heart of Balboa Village Newport Beach, Britta's Cafe has relocated to The University Center, Irvine.
In Irvine, Britta’s mission remains the same as it always has been: to provide seasonally inspired and uncomplicated cuisine in a comfortable and beautiful atmosphere with impeccable and friendly service. Britta’s Café is dedicated to using only the finest and freshest ingredients while striving to create satisfying cuisine that celebrates the changing seasons and local bounty. Since our menus are inspired and sometimes dictated by nature, there are daily menu additions. A new wood-burning oven has both inspired and challenged us to expand upon our culinary traditions in a fresh, unassuming way. The daily breakfast menu remains hearty and familiar but seasonally accented.
Our outstanding wine collection continues to emphasize excellent vintages of boutique vineyards. In Irvine, the addition of a beautiful mahogany bar celebrates the fine craftsmanship of premium liqueurs and spirits.
Irvine has also allowed Britta’s Cafe to expand with Garden and Parisian “tobacco and dogs welcome” Patio dining. Britta’s Cafe is conveniently located near the Irvine Barclay Theatre, the University Edwards Theater, and Bren Events Center. We look forward to entertaining you in the future.
